"Land Of Thoreau" First Parish Church's Sterns Room

Experience autumn in a quaint New England historic gem. Covered in public conservation land made up of pine forests, creaks, ambles, meadows and a rich history, these neighboring towns of Lincoln and Concord sit just 40 minutes west of Boston. We will explore different trails each day, meeting up daily at the First Parish Church of Lincoln where our group will gather for sharing and listening in the beautiful and spacious light filled Sterns Room that looks out onto a vast meadow surrounded by hedge groves that should be showing some early fall foliagešŸ. With the echoes of notable philosophers and writers like Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Louisa May Alcott, and early civil rights activists Susan Garrison and Ellen Garrison, spend your free time exploring nearby historic sites like Walden Pond, The Orchard House from ā€œLittle Women,ā€ and The Robbins House.
