Cayla is a Michigan native, mentor, teacher and freelance artist with a passion for drawing, nature, and eco-conservation. She became a certified forest therapy guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT) in 2017. She is also a mentor and assistant guide trainer with the ANFT. She founded A2 Shinrin-yoku in 2017.

Cayla has a Bachelors degree in Art Education from Eastern Michigan, and is pursuing her masters in Design. She hopes to combine eco-activism and design by creating beautiful and environmentally responsible products and solutions which will promote a greater love and respect for nature.
