Kim High is the Master Interpreter at Metroparks Toledo, and has been with that agency for over 37 years. She is an active Certified Interpretive Trainer with the National Association for Interpretation since 2003, and throughout her career has taught courses in nature interpretation at The University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University.At Metroparks Toledo, Kim is involved with all facets of interpretive program production. She trains program staff and volunteers and is part of the five person Metroparks Interpretive Planning Team that creates texts and exhibits district-wide. Finally, she currently leads the new Metroparks Toledo initiative to bring Forest Therapy to her region, and is a Certified Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs. In her spare time, Kim enjoys travel, experiential nature of all kinds, music, herbalism, and spending time with her friends and family.
