Liz Collado has spent more than two decades co-guiding with her husband Carlos in a wilderness setting. On this journey together, she studied ancient healing and protective arts for almost twenty years at Riverview Martial Arts School. She became part of the RMA teaching and wilderness staff in 2007, which worked with school districts throughout the Midcoast region of Maine. Liz also helped co-found a Wellness Center at Bomb Diggity Arts, in Portland, making it one of the first Wellness Center’s for adults with developmental disabilities in New England. There, she implemented leadership programs, Tai chi classes, nature connection and forest therapy with adults of all abilities. Since 2017, she has worked in partnership with Through The Trees, a non-profit organization, co-guiding forest therapy walks with her husband, and in 2019, they co-founded Mountain Pass Walks. She is a certified forest therapy guide through ANFT, an artist, and a lifelong student of Nature. Pronouns used: she/her/hers
