Sari Telpner was certified as an ANFT guide in 2018. She has been immersed in nature since she was a child, growing up in the forested hills of Western Iowa. Moving to Oregon as a young adult brought her into deep connection with the emerald forests, wild rushing rivers and hot springs of The Pacific Northwest, where she has learned the language of the birds and squirrels. She is passionate about the practice of forest therapy and in love with "The More Than Human World." Each walk she guides takes Sari into deeper relationship with The Land and brings her much joy as she introduces others to slowing down and finding a new way to connect with the natural world. Sari has been in the field of health and wellness for more than 20 years. Besides her work as a forest therapy guide, she is a Credentialed Whole Health Educator/Coach and Reiki Master and Teacher. Sari has an active guiding practice called, Wild Wellness Guide, offering forest therapy walks, in Ashland, Oregon, and also serves as a mentor for ANFT guides in training.
